Dr. Trudy Dunlap

Dr. Dunlap has practiced small animal medicine in Collierville and, more recently, in Downtown and Midtown Memphis. 1/5 Dr. Dunlap completed advanced training in acupuncture from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, including surgery, critical care, and internal medicine. Some of her favorite patients are geriatric old souls. The decision to return to her roots practicing medicine in Collierville, Tennessee, was an easy one because she knows the community is so welcoming and the Kelsey Canine Medical Center is top-notch. Dr. Dunlap lives on a small farm surrounded by horses, goats, chickens, geese, and a special turkey named George. She is married to Alex and has 2 children, Hannah and Will, who happen to be twins. Her best friend is Sunny, her Border Collie mix.

Jennifer
Jennifer has been our Practice Manager since June of 2022, but started in the veterinary field as a licensed technician in 2004 after graduating from Mississippi State University. She absolutely loves her current role, but admits she misses canine dentistry badly. She and her husband, Carey, and their son, Luke, are all trilingual…. they speak English fairly well, but also talk “Labrador” and “lacrosse” fluently. What has she learned over the years? Keep your eyes on Jesus, be kind (because everyone is going through hard things), and nothing will heal your heart like a snuggle session with your fur baby!

Tammy
Lead Receptionist
Tammy has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, most of which was spent in emergency care and oncology. She found working in oncology extremely rewarding but is excited to be back in general practice. When not at work, Tammy loves spending time with her husband and their Chihuahua and Yorkie, Charles and Teyla, and their two cats, Oreo and Elvis.

Allie has worked in both small animal and equine practices throughout the years. Allie and her husband, Tripp, have multiple fur children: Mater (Weimaraner mix), Hank (Weimaraner), Kunama (horse), and a bunch of chickens. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time on her farm with her animals, riding her horse, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends.

Building personal connections and helping pets feel comfortable is one of her favorite parts of the job. Outside of work, Mary loves fishing, spending time with her family, and soaking up her auntie era with her nieces and nephews — they lovingly call her “Auntie May May.” Her biggest joy, though, comes from her two pups, Bru Bru and LuLu, who are truly her everything.
